Aamir Mukaram
Freelance Angular developer for apps that have outgrown their first version.
I help product teams upgrade, speed up and scale Angular applications — from AngularJS migrations to design systems in Nx monorepos. Eleven years of frontend work, remote with clients in the US, UK and Canada since 2015, based in Berlin.
Selected work
A design system and monorepo for a craftsmen’s work app
Built a shared component library, moved the web app to an Nx monorepo, and shipped paywalls, A/B testing and analytics for a task and time-tracking product.
Video monitoring for an AI dashcam
Built the web video monitoring feature for KeepTruckin’s AI dashcam from scratch, and reporting for fleet managers.
Freelance services
Remote only, as I have worked since 2015. Full overlap with European and UK teams, several hours with the US East Coast.
Angular migrations & upgrades
Move from AngularJS to Angular, or catch up several major versions, without freezing feature work.
Angular performance audits
Find and fix what makes your Angular app slow to load and slow to use.
Design systems & Nx monorepos
A shared component library, documented in Storybook, in a monorepo that scales with your team.
Remote Angular development
A senior Angular engineer joining your team remotely to ship features end to end.
About
I have spent eleven years building web applications, most of them in Angular, from AngularJS 1.5 to today’s signals and standalone components. I have worked on a fleet-management platform with AI dashcams, a task and time-tracking app used by craftsmen across Germany, investor-relations software, and traffic-management systems.
What I enjoy most is the stage after the first version: the codebase works, the team is growing, and every new feature feels slower than the last. That is where structure — a shared component library, a monorepo, clear state management, real tests — makes the biggest difference.
